Loved the use of Cas being the symbolism for God’s presence. In that respect, I didn’t take the interpretations so much as a personal reflection on Dean’s relationship with him but rather as Dean voicing his issues with God and faith: “You found me” but, “where were you?”
There were some wonderful facial expression clips 0:13/14, 0:17, 0:19 that, for me, really embodied the relevant emotions of the initial revelation and the subsequent surety.
Those rapid fire images from 0:23> overlayed on “where were you when everything was falling apart?” were inarguably powerful; I also loved 1:01-1:10 “why’d you have to wait?...just a little late” GUH! That mixture of regret and of imploring need is so raw.
It's a technically beautiful vid - from the flow of it to the colour and use of effects/trans, which seem to just melt within themselves; and the song edit was great!
I loved the nod to the past...perhaps would've liked to have even seen a touch more, but I really enjoyed this. Great job!
